Would you like to take next step in your Christian life? Not sure where to start? If you have recently given your life to the Lord, or are new to GPC and would like to learn more about becoming a part of our faith community, here are the “next steps” that will give you a clear path to follow.
Getting To Know the Gathering Place!
This is a great first step in learning what GPC is all about! You will meet our Senior Leader John Ettore, and in a casual setting you will hear his vision for the church, be able to ask questions, meet some others who are new to GPC, and share a meal together. Join a Connect Group!
At GPC we are creating a culture we like to call Genuine Christian Community (GCC). This is primarily accomplished through our network of connect groups. Forming friendships and sharing our lives is a key to living what the Bible refers to as an “abundant” life. Relationships are what living the Christian life is all about – it’s the context of living out our faith – first with God, and then with each other.
In our busy lives, we can often feel isolated and cut off from people, even when we are in a crowd. We shrug our shoulders and wish it were different, but feel hopeless to change anything.

Where Friendships Happen
Even though you’ll find that our Sunday Celebration services are a great opportunity to meet many warm and friendly people, the best place to forge friendships and experience true Christian community is during the week in our Connect Groups. There is where you’ll find friendship, support, encouragement, love and prayer. Weekly Connect groups are an extension of our Sunday gatherings and we are finding there are more testimonies coming out of our Connect Groups than anywhere else!
We invite you to come and share in the life of our church by exploring our many different Connect Groups and to discover the joy of genuine Christian community. It could be just what you have been looking for – the antidote to feeling disconnected.

Southern California School of the Supernatural
The supernatural is a natural part of the kingdom of God and therefore we believe it is to be a natural part of every Christian’s life. Whether it is at school, work, at home or at the local Starbucks, we have found the fastest way to expand the kingdom of God is through signs and wonders.
The SCSS was a collaborative effort between the Gathering Place and The Connection. Since its inception, hundreds have been trained in the supernatural through these powerful weekends. Countless people who had never prophesied before, healed the sick, received words of knowledge for other or operated in the “discerning of spirits” have begun walking in a whole new dimension of the gifts of the Spirit.
