What I Do For GPC: Stay close to Jesus to love God and love others. Some of my responsibilities include: leading the missions team, which includes overseas, Mexico, and local outreach; helping oversee the weekly groups, equipping leaders and connecting people to love one another and Jesus; providing prayer and family counseling; being a local missionary from GPC; and working in the community helping single moms and low income families.

What I Do For Fun: Swim, jog, dance, read, art, clean, write, talk……

What Makes Me Laugh: My little dog Pete and my husband’s laughter.

What Makes Me Cry: Those people who are hurting and do not turn to God.

In A Previous Life (before GPC): Therapeutic foster parent and family counselor. I developed social programs and provided training for others to help families in need. I was also a children’s ministry leader in a church.

Best Advice I Ever Received: Don’t hit back; discover beauty in everyone. Romans 12:17

Things I Care About: Knowing God and the grace of God. I care deeply about others knowing God and His grace.

Family Matters: I have a loving and wise husband, Mark; my foster children who lived with me in Canada; my loving parents in Canada; and also a birth family I was reunited with 15 years ago.

My Secret Talent: It’s all out there, not much secret about me… I do like to create greeting cards.

My Favorite Cartoon Character and Why: Wilbur the Pig from Charlotte’s Web…he is very cute!

Grew Up Where: Several cities in Canada.

Favorite Movies: The Ultimate Gift.

Food I Can’t Live Without: I just love biscuits – you know, the kind with the baking powder. I also love yogurt.

What Made Me Want To Follow Jesus: I wanted to belong, be loved, accepted, and find something that could help others who were hurting.
