Our Vision – Heaven on Earth

The vision of the Gathering Place Church is to see Heaven come to our city; to homes, to individuals, to marriages, and to whole communities.

We believe this is our assignment – the salvation, restoration and transformation of people’s lives. Jesus told us to go and bear fruit and that our fruit should remain. We believe it is our destiny to go to Heaven, but our assignment is to bring Heaven to earth.

When Heaven truly invades the earth we see lives changed. We see the sick healed, the discouraged find hope, the lonely find community, the distressed helped and the lost saved. We see the will of God for people’s lives.

Jesus told us to pray for God’s kingdom to come and for His will to be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

This is not only what He prayed, but it’s what He did!

The Bible clearly teaches that ‘God anointed Jesus with the Holy Spirit and power, who went about doing good, healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.’ (Acts 10:38).

God has called the Gathering Place Church to be 1000 strong. Not 1000 people strong but 1000 strong people! People who sincerely love God, who love one another and love the lost. We believe that every believer is a carrier of the kingdom and everywhere they go they can bring the kingdom to every situation.
