The Power of a Testimony
Testimonies have incredible power because they carry within them the seeds of faith it took to bring them to pass. In fact, the word, “testimony” means “to do again.” Upon hearing or reading a testimony, many times the same faith that produced the miracle the first time transfers to your heart and reproduces that same miracle in your life!
Focusing on What God Has Done
God told His people all throughout the Bible to record what He has done so that their faith would remain strong and active. Psalm 102:18 says, “Let this be written for a future generation, that a people not yet created may praise the Lord.” This is especially important for those who have not yet seen their prayers answered. It is so easy to focus on what God has not done rather than focus on what He has done!
The testimonies of what God is doing within the GPC family are posted here as tools to help you continually grow in faith. These are just a sampling of what God is doing in our midst. Our desire is that these testimonies will produce a faith for the impossible in your heart. We want you to see God do amazing things in your life as well as together experience a move of God in our church, and in our city, that will last generations.
So, may your faith be increased and your expectation broadened as you read what God has done in our midst!
