This course, taught by Kyle Otto, will study sacred space and divine presence in the Old Testament beginning with the Garden of Eden and centering on the tabernacle of ancient Israel, ultimately fulfilled in Jesus Christ, our true temple, and culminating in the future heavenly city with the Restored Eden.
We will survey themes of Biblical Theology and explore the Bible in its religious and cultural contexts in the Ancient Near East. The goal is to help believers to comprehend how God chose to dwell with his people in the past beginning with creation to better understand how he wants to dwell with us today and in the future.
If you have a desire to study the Bible with others and discover how understanding it can deepen your relationship with God, this class is for you!
No cost to attend. Snacks will be provided. Childcare not available.
