GPC Men's Ministry

Every man has the desire to produce, provide, and prosper. The goal of Gathering Place Church’s Men’s Ministry is to strengthen every man to walk in God’s divine calling in every area of life. We come alongside each other to tackle the challenges of life and issues of the heart, while standing firm on Christ love and the word of God.

Proverbs 27:17 "Iron Sharpens Iron, So one man sharpens another"

The key to living as an authentic man of God is to connect with God, and with other godly men. However, when we aren’t in a close relationship with God and other christian men, we tend to isolate,  feel alone, and are unfulfilled.   We invite you to join GPC Men’s Ministry to find the strength and encouragement to become the man God created you to be.

There is strength in numbers. Together we face the common challenges every man deals with in life, by equipping each other in God’s Word, through prayer, and fellowship. We believe God made man in his image, and each man is  divinely designed  for a specific purpose.  We partner together to help live our lives for the glory of God.

Men’s Ministry Leader: Ric Higgins

 Years ago, I was given a word for men: Warrior. A Warrior is trained, stands firm, is proficient, and serves. 

 Jeremiah 20:11 “But the LORD is with me as a dread warrior; therefore my persecutors will stumble; they will not overcome me. They will be greatly shamed, for they will not succeed. Their eternal dishonor will never be forgotten.”

 God showed me that the sword He gives to His warriors can be the everyday tools we use; a mechanic’s tools, a computer, administration, a spreadsheet, or whatever your skills are, when dedicated to God, they become a spiritual weapon to advance the kingdom of God where you live, work, and play. 

 Our goal is to give our very best to God so He will be glorified and those around us will be blessed. 

 

 “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”
